Als Autodidaktin habe ich meinen Weg in die Malerei über das Anfertigen von Kopien erarbeitet. Motivfindung, Komposition, Farbe und Farbauftrag waren Hauptaugenmerk meiner ersten Studien.
Der Ehrgeiz bestand darin, so nah wie möglich an das Original heranzukommen, ohne die eigene Empfindung für das Sujet zu verlieren. (Original & Kopie)
Die Aktstudien mit Modell sind Ergebnis eines jahrelangen Übermal-Prozesses. 2017 habe ich in einer privaten Ausstellung die Ergebnisse sowie alle fotografisch dokumentierten Zwischenstufen gezeigt.
In neuerer Zeit widme ich mich der Frage von Farbe und Farbauftrag. (Licht & Schatten) Mehr und mehr versuche ich eine Verbindung zur Zeichnung herzustellen. (Springen & Fallen)

An Offset- und Fine Art Print macht Spaß mit den Dimensionen der Arbeiten zu spielen. Ein Bild, das ursprünglich 100x100 cm ist auf Postkartengröße zu bringen oder nachträglich farblich zu manipulieren, hat mir viele neue Möglichkeiten erschlossen.
